Job Summary
Caregiver positions for non-medical home care supporting clients in Charleston area. Responsibilities include personal care (dressing, bathing, grooming), light housekeeping, meal and snack preparation, transportation/errands, monitoring client conditions, updating care notes, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, companion care, and home safety inspections. Requires 18+, HS diploma or GED, any state-mandated certification, valid SC driver license with clean driving record if transporting clients, drug test and background check. 1-2+ years of adult personal care assistance experience and 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or mental illnesses. Shifts available 4-12 hours, day/night/overnight, full-time and part-time; flexible scheduling; starting pay $18.25/hour with raise to $19.25/hour after 16+ hours/week for 4 consecutive weeks. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Any state-mandated certification
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Minimum of 1 to 2+ year(s) adult personal care assistance experience
- Minimum of 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors.
