Job Summary
Assist with personal care and daily living activities, provide companionship and emotional support, handle light housekeeping and errands, and prepare meals and snacks for seniors in the Cornell community. Remind clients of their medication schedules while maintaining a professional, respectful appearance. This role offers flexible schedules, bi-weekly pay, and paid travel time between clients. Candidates must have at least one year of caregiving experience, a valid California driver's license, and an active Home Care Aide number.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of paid professional caregiving experience
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) number
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass DOJ & FBI background check
- Negative TB test or clear chest X-ray
- Basic computer skills
- California HCA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- 1+ year caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Background check & TB clearance required
