Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication administration, document on MARs, and conduct narcotic counts. Provide physical and psychosocial care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and room checks. Monitor resident status, report changes or emergencies, and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Plan wellness schedules, maintain security of medication carts, and participate in on-call rotations for staffing coverage. Available for full-time or part-time shifts including weekends with daily pay and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs
- Must be available for every other weekend
- Must be available for 2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am shifts
- Must be available for full-time or part-time options
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
