Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication administration, document on MARs, and conduct narcotic counts. Provide physical and psychosocial care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and dining support. Maintain resident room cleanliness, perform rounds, and monitor for safety hazards. Oversee wellness staffing schedules and participate in on-call rotations to fill open shifts. Respond promptly to emergencies and report changes in resident condition. Complete mandatory training and maintain state certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work if required.
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides as well as the company medication aide skills competency checklist.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases.
- Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs and able to fill open shift if needed.
- Must be available for every other weekend.
- Must be available for 2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am shifts.
- Must be available for full-time or part-time options.
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
