Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including transferring, bathing, dressing, shaving, and preparing meals. Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and changing linens. Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments and provide dementia care, companionship, and medication reminders. Ensure clients complete prescribed range of motion exercises. Maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle for travel between clients. Requires California Home Care Aide registration, TB test, LiveScan, and English proficiency. Full-time and part-time shifts available in Bellflower.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
- Registered as a California Home Care Aide
- Current TB Test
- State and Federal LiveScan (Fingerprinting)
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Have a valid driver's license and vehicle
