Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including transferring, bathing, dressing, shaving, and preparing meals according to instructions. Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms. Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments and provide dementia care alongside prescribed range of motion exercises. Offer companionship through reading, music, and puzzles while managing medication reminders. Requires a California Home Care Aide registration, TB test, LiveScan, and valid driver's license. Full-time and part-time roles available in Compton with competitive pay ranging from $18 to $20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
- Registered as a California Home Care Aide
- Current TB Test
- State and Federal LiveScan (Fingerprinting)
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Have a valid driver's license and vehicle
