Job Summary
Provide companionship, emotional support, and personal care assistance to older adults in their homes, including mobility help, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Maintain client safety by reporting condition changes, adhering to infection control protocols, and documenting all tasks. Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed. Work flexible schedules covering days, evenings, weekends, and overnights to meet client needs. Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus
- State certification and license in good standing, if applicable
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
