Job Summary
Provide safe, supportive personal care and hygiene assistance to seniors in the LA Area, including clients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other advanced conditions. Manage one-on-one care while enforcing health and safety standards and demonstrating compassionate support. Lift and move clients up to 50 pounds, utilizing Hoyer Lift experience when specific to client needs. Work flexible shifts including nights and weekends with 24/7 on-call caregiver support available. Fluency in English or Spanish is a plus, and HCA registration is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license or State ID
- 1 year of Caregiving experience
- Social security card
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Desired Qualifications
- HCA Registration
- Current TB Test
- Fluency with English or Spanish
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting
- Eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
