Job Summary
Provide compassionate, in-home care and companionship to senior adults in the Deep East Texas region (Crockett/Lufkin area). Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, one-on-one mobility assistance, transportation, medication reminders, shopping accompaniment, and reporting incidents. Opportunities for advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care; shifts available include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options; positions open as full-time or part-time with benefits such as health, dental, vision, holiday pay, weekly pay, sign-on bonus, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years professional experience with the elderly in a facility or with an agency
- CNA certification
- Knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's and Dementia
- Experience with bathing assistance and incontinence care
- Experience with transferring seniors using a hoyer lift or gait belt
