Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and hydration. Provide emotional support and companionship while helping with mobility through safe transfers and positioning. Record and maintain accurate documentation of care and daily activities, communicating effectively with families and the healthcare team. Must be available for day shifts Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Previous experience in in-home care is preferred, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in-home care experience
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Flexibility to work weekends & holidays as needed
- Must pass a background check
