Job Summary
Provide in-home caregiving support including ambulation and mobility assistance around the house or outside, personal care and hygiene, shopping assistance, light housekeeping such as meal preparation, and promptly reporting unusual incidents to office staff. Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies while maintaining health and safety standards. Strong communication and time-management skills, empathy, and physical endurance are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR certification preferred but not required
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
