Job Summary
Conduct daily non-medical home care for older adults, including administering prescribed medication, assisting with ambulation and mobility, and supporting personal hygiene. Help clients complete physical therapy exercises, manage light housekeeping duties like meal preparation, and handle shopping or accompany them during errands. Collect and report medical information from doctors and family members while acting quickly in emergencies. Maintain a flexible schedule with no on-call rotation, adhering to health and safety standards. CPR certification required; previous experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
