Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one care and comfort for clients by administering prescribed medication, assisting with ambulation and mobility, and supporting personal hygiene. Help clients complete physical therapy exercises, manage shopping needs, and perform light housekeeping duties such as meal preparation. Collect information regarding conditions and treatment plans from medical professionals and family members, then report any unusual incidents or emergencies to nurses, doctors, and family members immediately. Maintain a flexible schedule while adhering to health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
