Job Summary
Caregiver role at Village of Southampton, an Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, dining), serving meals, aiding in meal preparation and nutrition, facilitating leisure activities, documenting activities and changes in residents’ conditions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, following emergency procedures, tracking resident locations, and collaborating with teammates. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of prior resident-care experience with seniors; strong communication and customer-service skills; knowledge of HIPAA; willingness to work weekends and holidays; and participation in training and emergency response activities.
