Job Summary
Caregiver needed in West Bloomfield, MI to provide one-on-one in-home support for elderly or post-surgical clients. Responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, eating), helping with prescribed medications and ambulation, mobility support, meal planning/preparation, assisting with physical therapy exercises, accompanying shopping or running errands, light housekeeping, reporting incidents, and ensuring daily living activities such as meals and related tasks. Requires ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, availability for various shifts (including nights/weekends), and prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care (minimum 1 year). May require Hoyer lift experience. Education requirement includes High School Diploma or equivalent; CNA/HHA/CNA program completion or related experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
