Job Summary
Bathe, groom, and assist residents with daily activities including bed baths, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Administer medications per protocols, monitor vital signs, and report abnormal conditions or incidents immediately. Maintain resident rooms, perform housekeeping, and participate in activity programming while ensuring infection control and privacy. Answer emergency calls promptly and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges. Work full-time standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and communicating effectively in English.
Required Qualifications
- Training per state requirements
- Must have current CPR and First Aid certification
- The employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasional travel to different locations may be required
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site at community if not already certified
- Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred
- Desire to work with geriatric population
