Job Summary
Provide compassionate, personalized care to residents in an assisted living/community setting, including bathing, grooming, dining assistance, mobility support, toileting and light incontinence care, medication assistance, and daily living tasks; document and communicate resident changes to the Wellness Leader and families; adhere to 1440 care standards; participate in staff meetings and ensure safety procedures are followed; maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms while delivering empathetic, resident-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) Certification preferred
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, as well as assisting others routinely with their assignments if needed
- Provides compassionate and competent care for residents by performing services: Bathing, showering and grooming assistance; Assist residents with dining; Provides wheelchair and walking escorts; Provides toileting and light incontinence care assistance; Assistance with morning and bedtime routines; Performs light upkeep of resident rooms; Answers resident call signals; Medication assistance, personal care/ medication administration, Assisted Living, Memory Care
- Completes and documents appropriate records, including pertinent information entered into log book
- Maintains knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures
- Is knowledgeable of and abides by all company policies and procedures
- Attends community staff meetings, in-service programs, safety courses, and other required meetings
- Stays up to date and knowledgeable of all departmental communication
- The work environment requires standing for long periods; ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; occasional travel to different locations may be required
