Job Summary
Assist residents with grooming, bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility transfers while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Support day program activities to help individuals achieve their daily goals and communicate with the healthcare team. You will work flexible full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts in Geneva or Elgin, with paid training provided for Direct Support Professionals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Caregiver experience helpful, but not required (we provide paid on-site training for your Direct Support Professional certification)
- An ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, and strong commitment to providing excellent care to our residents along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and the desire to contribute to a strong culture where the entire team works together for the good of each resident
