Job Summary
Caregiver role focusing on in-home client support in Temple Hills, MD. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility; providing medication reminders and assisting with medication management according to care plans; meal preparation and ensuring food safety; light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment; offering companionship and social engagement; effective English communication with clients and families; safe transportation to appointments and activities; and maintaining accurate care documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and relevant caregiving experience; possession of a valid driver’s license (preferred) and ability to pass background checks. Schedule is Monday through Friday with full-time hours available; compensation starts around $16/hour and can vary by DOE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active CPR Certification
- CMT Certification
- Fluent in English
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with state regulations
- Experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role preferred
