Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Provide medication reminders, prepare nutritious meals, and perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment. Offer companionship, engage clients in conversation and recreational activities, and escort them to appointments and errands. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with families. Fluent in English and Spanish required; valid driver's license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients
- Active CPR Certification
- Ability to pass background checks and physical as required by state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
