Caregiver

As a Resident Assistant for our community, you will be a key member of an amazing team, enhancing the lives of our residents by providing consistent and quality care. Essential functions include assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engaging residents in conversation, socialization, and activities, responding to care needs, assisting in dining, encouraging participation in activities and outings, helping maintain cleanliness and tidiness of resident rooms and community areas, and assisting with resident laundry. Minimum eligibility requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), and prior experience with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred. Must read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively, and be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation; ability to pass required state tests (CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.
