Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant for our community, you will be a key member of an amazing team, delivering consistent, quality care to residents. You will assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engage residents in conversation and meaningful activities, respond to care needs promptly, assist in the dining room during meals, support participation in scheduled activities and outings, and help with light housekeeping and laundry per shift guidelines. Strong communication in English and ability to meet state-required tests (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers) as applicable are essential. This role supports a caring, team-oriented environment with opportunities for development and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience with elderly in residential or long-term care preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Able to pass required tests (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers) if state regulations require
