Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant, you will be a key member of an amazing team, providing personal care and assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating) and mobility, engaging residents in meaningful conversation and activities, assisting in dining room during meal times, encouraging participation in scheduled outings, maintaining cleanliness and laundry per guidelines, and supporting residents' overall well-being in a long-term care community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.
