Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility. Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care assistance. Respond promptly to resident needs, assist in dining room meal times, and encourage participation in scheduled outings. Maintain community cleanliness by straightening beds, emptying garbage, and tidying rooms daily. Perform resident laundry per shift guidelines. High school diploma preferred; previous experience with the elderly in residential or long-term care settings is preferred. Must read, write, and speak English effectively and pass required tests such as CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.
- Minors must be at least 16 years of age to be employed by Sinceri Senior Living.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
