Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant at Sinceri Senior Living, provide personal care and support to residents to help them live meaningful, engaged lives. Monitor and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engage residents in conversations and activities, assist in dining during meal times, support participation in scheduled activities and outings, assist with housekeeping tasks, and help with resident laundry per shift guidelines. Requires ability to read, write, and communicate in English; CPR/First Aid/food-handlers certifications may be required by state regulations. Part-time, 2nd shift position with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered care and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations
