Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant for our Sinceri Senior Living community, you will be a key member of an amazing team, enhancing the lives of our residents by providing consistent and quality care. You will assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engage residents in conversation and activities, assist in dining room duties during meals, support participation in scheduled activities and outings, help maintain clean resident rooms and shared spaces, and assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines. Minimum eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), experience with the elderly in a residential/long-term care setting (preferred), ability to read/write/speak English, the ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation, and ability to pass required tests (CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) as required by state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations
