Job Summary
Resident Assistant role at Sinceri Senior Living: Provide consistent, quality care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engaging residents in social activities, assisting in dining room during meals, encouraging participation in scheduled activities, and maintaining cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas. Supports may include resident laundry and other assigned tasks. Emphasizes compassionate care, effective communication with residents and families, and collaboration with a caregiving team to enhance residents’ meaningful life within a supportive community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.
