Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant for our community, you are a key member of an amazing team, enhancing the lives of our residents. By providing consistent and quality care, our caregiving team ensures our residents live meaningful life. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engaging residents in meaningful conversation and activities, responding to care requests, assisting in dining during meals, encouraging participation in activities and outings, maintaining cleanliness of the community, assisting with resident laundry, and supporting overall resident well-being. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred); experience with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred; English literacy; ability to perform duties with/without accommodation; CPR/First Aid/food handler tests if required by state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.
Additional Requirements
- Minors must be at least 16 years of age to be employed by Sinceri Senior Living.
