Job Summary
Resident Assistant at Sinceri Senior Living provides consistent, quality care to residents: assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engages residents in conversation and activities, assists in dining room during meals, supports participation in scheduled activities, helps with light housekeeping and resident laundry, and maintains a clean, comfortable living environment. Requires English proficiency and ability to pass state-required tests; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior elderly-care experience preferred. This role is part-time and located in Gresham, OR.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations
