Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant for our community, you are a key member of an amazing team, enhancing the lives of our residents. By providing consistent and quality care, our caregiving team ensures our residents live meaningful life. You will assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities, respond to care needs promptly, assist in dining during meal times, encourage participation in scheduled activities and outings, help with daily community housekeeping, and assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, with English proficiency, and ability to pass any required state tests (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers). The role is based in Naples, FL, with per diem scheduling and an expected starting pay around $17.50/hour, converted to annualized compensation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations
