Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant, you will be a key member of an amazing team, providing consistent and quality care to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engage residents in conversation and activities, respond promptly to care needs, assist in meal times, encourage participation in activities/outings, maintain cleanliness, and assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines. Minimum eligibility includes a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and ability to communicate effectively in English. Prior experience with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred. Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers may be required by state regulations.
