Job Summary
Resident Assistant for our Sinceri Senior Living community providing consistent, quality care to residents. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility), engaging residents in conversation and activities, responding to care needs, assisting in dining room during meals, encouraging participation in scheduled activities, helping with housekeeping and resident laundry per shift guidelines, and supporting a safe, caring environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to pass tests (CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred
