Job Summary
Resident Assistant at Sinceri Senior Living: Provide consistent, quality care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility, transfers), engaging residents in conversation and activities, assisting in dining during meal times, encouraging participation in scheduled activities and outings, aiding with light housekeeping and laundry, and upholding a caring, team-oriented environment. Requires English literacy, ability to pass necessary state-required tests (CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.), and a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to pass CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc. if required by state regulations
