Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant/Caregiver, provide daily living assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility; engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activities; assist in dining and meal times; support participation in scheduled activities and outings; help maintain cleanliness of the community and assist with resident laundry as per shift guidelines. Requires ability to communicate effectively in English, pass required tests (CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.), and work in a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Able to pass CPR/First Aid/food handlers tests if required by state regulations
