Job Summary
In-Home Caregiver role providing non-clinical care and companionship to health plan members and private clients. Core duties include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping. Document all care tasks in the CareLinx app, monitor changes in client condition, submit timesheets on time, and communicate with the Care Partner about updates. Additional shifts may include transportation/errand support, hospital discharge escort, and telehealth navigation. Requires minimum 6 months caregiving experience or relevant CNA/HHA/MA certification, smartphone access, English communication, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background and program-specific screening. Emphasis on patient privacy, dignity, safety, and proactive scheduling and communication; onboarding typically completed within a few days.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, OR relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
- Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (required for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
- Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply)
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes
- Must pass a background check
- Program-specific training prior to accepting shifts (depending on assignment)
- Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening (depending on state law)
- Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts
