Job Summary
Caregivers at Sevita provide community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them with personal hygiene, behavioral challenges, and achieving developmental goals such as budgeting and nutrition. This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and six months of relevant experience, along with strong communication and adaptability skills. Responsibilities include developing meaningful relationships, supporting community involvement, and taking initiative in participants' activities.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
- Valid Driver's license for at least one year and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
