Job Summary
As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting them with personal hygiene and helping them achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Your role involves developing meaningful relationships and providing care for participants with behavioral challenges. You should be patient, compassionate, and reliable, holding a high school diploma or equivalent. Six months of experience in human services is preferred. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $15/hr along with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- At least 1 year of driving experience post-permit
- Clean MVR record that meets Sevita's insurability policy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Skills in communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time management
