Job Summary
Caregiver providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential or periodic programs; responsibilities include personal care, health maintenance, medication administration, socialization, recreational activities, transportation, housekeeping, community integration, budgeting within individual plans, documentation of progress, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring safety and compliance with required trainings and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- All state-required training(s) and certification(s) completed in mandated timeframes
- Must be 18 years of age
- Accurate documentation and records management
- Drug testing prior to employment and random testing as required
- Criminal background checks and registry checks as required by state licensing
