Job Summary
Direct Support Professional on-site, full-time role providing community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings; promoting inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities; building strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend; taking initiative to apply your ideas and dedication; and supporting individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals related to budgeting, nutrition, and community participation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for 1 year with no restrictions
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- A clean driving record
- Successful clearance of background checks
- Must be 18 years or older
