Job Summary
Support participants with developmental goals including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while assisting with personal hygiene and managing behavioral challenges. Develop meaningful relationships with individuals you serve and take initiative to help them participate in community activities. Provide direct care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring they have a fulfilling career and live well. This role requires a valid driver's license, six months of experience in human services or direct care, and strong communication and adaptability skills. Work part-time Wednesdays and Thursdays/Fridays evenings, with Saturday evening coverage available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
