Job Summary
Caregivers provide companionship and homemaker services to seniors in the comfort of the client’s home. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dishes), shopping and errands, meal preparation, medication reminders, pet care, light yard work, and incidental transportation to appointments or social activities. Personal care tasks may include dressing, feeding, showering/bathing, mobility assistance, and toileting/incontinence support, as well as memory care. Additional duties include arriving on time, maintaining documentation of services, reporting changes to office staff, communicating regularly with management, participating in in-service opportunities, and clocking in/out using the care management system.
