Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Support mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning while observing residents to promptly communicate changes in condition to the nursing team. Facilitate meal service, hydration, and resident engagement throughout the day, maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable living environments. Document care services accurately and timely, follow infection control and safety procedures, and encourage participation in community activities. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members while preserving dignity and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily care needs
- Must successfully complete all required state and company training
- Must pass required background screenings and employment eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum six (6) months of caregiving, resident assistant, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- Assisted Living or Memory Care experience preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
