Job Summary
Provide hands-on resident care in a senior living community, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and mobility, supporting meals and hydration, and fostering resident engagement. Monitor residents for changes in condition, document care accurately, and communicate with nursing staff. Uphold infection-control and safety procedures and help create a safe, dignified, and engaging environment for residents. This role supports ongoing resident-centered care at Landing at Watercrest Shadow Creek in Pearland, TX, with flexible PRN and all-shifts schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum six (6) months of caregiving, resident assistant, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- Assisted Living or Memory Care experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily care needs
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Must successfully complete all required state and company training
- Must pass required background screenings and employment eligibility requirements
