Job Summary
Caregiver for Second Shift (2pm-10:30pm) in Strongsville, OH providing daily quality care to residents in assisted living and memory care. Responsibilities include assisting with daily personal and medical care routines according to individual care plans, cooking/serving meals, promoting engaging dining experiences, administering and documenting health information, observing residents and reporting changes to nursing, and supporting enrichment activities and social/spiritual programs. Position emphasizes compassionate patient care, adherence to safety/healthcare guidelines, teamwork, and delivering services that help residents Live Life on Purpose. Training is provided, with opportunities for tuition assistance, career development, and potential advancement to roles such as Med Passer, Lead Caregiver, CNA, or STNA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or work equivalency required
- No experience necessary-- training will be provided
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language
- Personal Care Assistant (PCA) experience preferred
- Med Passer and/or Lead experience preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred
