Job Summary
Caregiver position providing non-medical in-home care to clients in San Diego County. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, ambulation, toileting/incontinence care, feeding, medication reminders, skin care), personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, transportation, shopping for personal care items, and companionship. Must adhere to agency policies and state regulations; requires TB certificate, Home Care Aide Registry clearance, and I-9 verification; 18+ with entry-level training. Shifts available across San Diego County with flexible hours. Weekly pay and competitive pay range ($20-$23/hour) with benefits and referral bonuses. Safe Harbor Home Care is a San Diego-based, locally operated in-home care provider.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry
- Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate
- Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents
- Minimum of five (5) hours entry-level training prior to presence with client(s).
