Caregiver (PRN) All Shifts

Job Summary
Provide resident care services including personal care, medication reminders, meal service, and social/recreational activities; adhere to resident service plans; review daily logs and notes to monitor changes in resident needs; assist with medications and treatments as indicated; respond to emergency calls; maintain infection control procedures; assist with housekeeping to keep a clean, safe environment; support group and individual activities to promote participation and well-being; observe changes in health status and report them per procedures; participate in ongoing training and adhere to privacy and dignity for residents; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and read/write English; high school diploma or GED preferred; experience with seniors and caregiving tasks preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet in-service training requirements
- Must be able to organize and use time appropriately to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work well with others and function effectively as part of a team
- Must be well-groomed and willing to follow dress requirements
- Must have a cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn new knowledge/skills
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, to occasionally lift more than 50 pounds, and to spend long periods of time walking/standing
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with seniors preferred
- Experience performing care-giving tasks preferred
