Job Summary
Deliver direct hands-on care to residents, ensuring they remain clean, presentable, and comfortable throughout the shift. Assist with daily activities including dressing, bathing, grooming, and mealtimes while maintaining proper room order. Monitor resident needs by keeping internal charts current and reporting physical or emotional changes to the shift manager or Resident Care Coordinator by shift end. Respond promptly to resident calls, manage emergency situations per facility protocol, and facilitate recreational activities like crafts, games, and exercise. Maintain accurate documentation and attend required staff meetings and training sessions. Work the 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. PM shift on a 4/2 rotation at $19.00 per hour. Full-time staff receive 401(k), dental, health, and vision insurance, plus paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Physical examination and tuberculin test performed by a physician
- Fingerprints cards and an affidavit on criminal convictions
- FIRST-AID certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years or older
- Ability to bend, twist or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to keep or regain balance
- Ability to make repetitive motions
- Ability to stand
- Ability to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools
- Ability to walk and run
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant and/or Home Health Aide Certificate
