Job Summary
Provide in-home personal care to clients in Missouri under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing non-skilled personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping, transfers, medication reminders, and comfort measures) and supporting clients to remain as independent as possible while following the client’s plan of care and maintaining confidentiality and dignity. Requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and the ability to meet health and safety requirements (including a 2-step TB skin test). Competitive hourly range of $15.00–$17.50 with benefits; role supports flexible scheduling and in-home visits. Ideal candidates may have a High School Diploma or GED and strong communication skills; training may be provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a 2-step TB skin test and submit proof to Human Resources
- Possess reliable transportation
- Possess emotional and cognitive maturity to maintain a good working relationship with the client, client’s family, and agency personnel
- Free from health problems that may be injurious to client, self, and coworkers and presents the required documents to indicate such
- Must have a 2-step TB test and submit proof to HR
- Possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as required by state laws and agency policies
- Ability to follow plan of care and maintain client confidentiality and dignity
- Able to perform non-skilled personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, meals, transfers, etc.)
- Attend to safety and report to RN as needed
- Meet state-specific health requirements or disclosures
