Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and incontinence care. Build meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support while monitoring well-being and reporting changes promptly. Facilitate medication reminders per community policy, encourage engagement in social programs, and maintain accurate documentation of care. Collaborate with nurses and team members to ensure excellent resident care and create a welcoming environment for residents and families.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background screening
- Compassionate, dependable, patient, and team-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- One year of caregiving, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred
- CNA certification welcomed but not required for all caregiver positions
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Experience with dementia or memory care is a plus
