Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while adhering to community protocols and safety guidelines. Prioritize resident independence by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship, and encourage participation in life enrichment programs. Support open communication between healthcare professionals, families, and staff, and assist with light housekeeping duties such as making beds and tidying rooms. Work in a team setting to ensure a supportive environment for residents. Requires a valid state CNA or HCA license, at least 12 months of caregiving experience, and willingness to participate in weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations
- Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
- At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting
